Hebrew Letter “Tet”

Hebrew Letter “Tet” or Teth:
The Wisdom of the Serpent. The symbol of enlightenment. The letter/symbol associated with Leo. The sign of the Tarot Major Arcana card “Lust” – the power of passion.
Together with YOD these are the symbols of the power of creativity, wisdom, and free thought – applied with passion toward the achievement of one’s goals.
See my essay on the topic of the Serpent in the Genisis creation myth: The Bible is The Bible is The Bible: “NOT!”
I have to comment. This is profound stuff. I read your essay “The Bible is….etc.”, and loved it. I am guilty where fundamental Christians are concerned of not reading the Bible enough. Yet, that (what you say in your essay) is exactly the reason I have not read it enough. But, recently, I found it important to read what is in there so that I can make sense of other certain ideas and beliefs I have come across. So, I’m reading it, but trying to also read “into” it.
With our birthdays fast approaching, thank you for posting the Hebrew letters “Yod” and “Tet”.
And the “Diabolicals”……the most blessed events in my life have been the births of my daughters, now 7 and 2 years old. And every day they remind me of those blessed moments. I am so thankful to be able to be a mother to two such beautiful, perfect, and wonderful creatures.
What reading or study materials would you recommend to me? School will be starting soon, and I will be teaching music again, so won’t have the time I’ve had this summer, but I am still always seeking, always evolving. I really enjoy your website and check it often. Thanks for your enlightening posts. Crystal
Thanks Crystal. I appreciate your feedback.
There are TONS of great books – and a lot of “diabolicasl” out there.
The books available at the site listed under the link at the right “The Bible The Book” are great resources for how the Bible came together as a document, and they’re full of resources to other books on the topic.
I’ve also made a partial list under the “Pages” category at the right on the page titled “booklist” – it’s not comprehensive by any means, but it’s a good start. “The Pagan Christ” and “The Jesus Mysteries” are especially good. “Jesus Mysteries” was my “down the rabbit hole” book…

Happy Birthday to you!!!! 😀
Thanks. It was a good one…
Yeah….it was a good one for me, too!
